Multimodal detection, image plus climate

Spot crop disease before it spreads across the field.

Upload a clear photo of a single leaf and enter the temperature and rainfall it grew in. LeafGuard reads the leaf and the weather together, because warm, wet conditions are what let infection take hold, and returns a clear reading in seconds.

How a reading is made

  1. 1
    Check the image

LeafGuard first confirms the photo is a plant leaf, and turns away anything that is not.

  2. 2
    Read the leaf

MobileNetV2 extracts visual features from the image: colour, texture, and lesions.

  3. 3
    Weigh the weather

Temperature and rainfall are normalised and read by a second network branch.

  4. 4
    Fuse and decide

Both signals join into one, and the model returns Healthy or Diseased with a confidence score.
